Leanne Bourgeois, known artistically as StarLightSing<\/strong>, is a multi-talented performing artist whose gifts span across music, writing, teaching, acting, dancing, and public speaking. A singer, pianist, and harmonica player, Leanne\u2019s musical journey began in her youth through musical theatre, voice lessons, show choir, church performances, open mics, and gigs. She holds a theatre degree with an emphasis in acting from Dalhousie University. Originally from Massachusetts, Leanne lived in Canada for 21 years before settling in South Jersey.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Leanne was gifted Jesus Calling<\/em> by a friend she met at St. Paul\u2019s Church in Halifax, NS, during a time of personal hardship. Struggling with her health and faith due to past trauma from churches that condemned her for being gay and a woman, she found comfort and clarity in the gentle, accessible language of these devotionals. The reflections in this book offer insight into Leanne\u2019s journey through chronic pain, PTSD, and a healing divorce, as well as her ongoing relationship with God. With vulnerability and hope, she shares her process of spiritual healing and her steadfast pursuit of love, self-acceptance, and purpose.
